Chia Lieu is a true visionary in the world of bridal fashion; by the age of nine, Chia was a budding designer reworking and creating hand-me-down clothes from her older brothers. Her designs impressed her parents so much that they enrolled her into a private school, where she easily mastered the necessary techniques in just two months. Little did she know that years later she would be the creative force and Founder behind Chia Lieu Design; creating sophisticated, elegant and unique bridal gowns.

Chia loves designing clothes and has a profound interest in bridal fashion design. She landed her first job with Mark Heister, a leading Chicago apparel designer and later she moved to California to work with the Beverly Hills celebrity bridal gown designer Norma LeNain. Chia graduated with a degree in fashion design and earned several prestigious awards and scholarships. When Chia arrived on the bridal scene, it was only a matter of time before she opened her own bridal boutique in Southern California.

In October of 2007, Chia Lieu Design was formed and has been enthusiastically welcomed by brides across the country. Each of Chia’s gowns reflects her innate style and meticulous eye for detail. Her philosophy is to use only the finest materials and infuse quality into each gown she creates, which contributes to a successful business Chia has built over the years.
